Der klassische „Bar Mirror“ neu interpretiert: Für die Tagesbar Karo Karo in der Hamburger Marktstraße entstand ein Backbar-Piece, das die Olive von der bloßen Zutat zum zentralen ästhetischen Element stilisiert. Statt einer statischen Spiegelfläche konzentriert sich das Design auf organische Abstraktion: Die Silhouette der Olive bildet die Basis für ein in Holz gefrästes Muster. Der dahinterliegende Spiegel fängt das Licht ein und bringt die Formen der Olive dynamisch in den Raum.
A fresh take on the classic “bar mirror”: For the Karo Karo bar on Marktstraße in Hamburg, a backbar piece was created that elevates the olive from a mere ingredient to a central aesthetic element. Instead of a static mirror surface, the design focuses on organic abstraction: the silhouette of the olive forms the basis for a pattern milled into the wood. The mirror behind it captures the light and dynamically projects the olive’s shapes into the room.
